Looking for soulmate I am very joyful and full of energy lady. I like to laugh and i have great sense of humor. My friends and my relatives never feel bore with me. I would like to share my optimism and my happiness with my future husband.

Anyone else stuck in the middle? Is there an option #3? Whether it's craigslist or a dating site, it seems there are primarily two kinds of women to date in MN:
#1. The first is a she-man that, aside from appearance, is virtually indistinguishable from a guy. Her interests include 4-wheeling, fishing, hunting, football, etc. She usually resides in the north metro, but not always. If I was blind, I wouldn't know if I was out on a date with a woman, or one of the mechanics at Tires Plus. These women are usually on a free dating site that has "plenty" and "fish" in the name.
#2. The second is on the far other end of the spectrum. This one lives in Minneapolis, s herself a "Minneapolitan" as if Minneapolis is some kind of chic, world-class city (hint: it's not, it's just a mediocre little city in the middle of midwestville), may or may not shave her legs, probably doesn't have a car because she wants so bad to think of herself as a *real* urban dweller, claims to be artistic, is resentful of suburbs, carpet, and air conditioning. She considers herself above anything "mainstream". Although she set out to be unique, she wound up being a clone of everyone around her. These women are usually on a free dating site that has "cupid" in the name.
Is there an option #3 out there? A "tweener" if you will? Someone in the middle of the spectrum. Anyone!? :)
I feel like I'm stuck in the middle. I have a moderate appreciation for art, travel, discovering new things, etc. I went to college, have a good enough job, can talk philosophy, and all that other good stuff. But I also have, at times, a remarkably inappropriate, politiy incorrect sense of humor. I curse freely, but know when not to. I can watch a documentary one minute, then play super mario bros the next minute. I can crack a joke about certain groups of people one minute, and then talk at length about something meaningful the next. I can dream about visiting Europe one minute, then hit McDonald's drive-thru the next minute. Do you see where I'm going with this? I'm usually in the middle of #1 and #2, but can momentarily be just like #1 or #2 before returning to my overall moderate self.
I can't date Woman #1 above because I don't want my date gnawing off the end of a cigar while she tells me about the biggest fish she ever caught, or the biggest deer she shot, or how her factory foreman keeps getting on her case about showing up to work drunk.
And I can't date woman #2 because I like air conditioning, carpet, driving, smooth legs, the spaciousness and convenience of the suburbs, and being a little bit of a pig sometimes.
So......like......uh......what the hell am I supposed to do!? LOL (I say "LOL" but it really is a kind of frustrating). But I know there HAS to be at least a few single tweeners like me left.....right?
Here's a "me/you" list:
Me: 5'8, no kids, average-ish build, shaved head, goatee, blue-green eyes (anything else you want to know, just ask)
You: not twiggy nor obese (average or a little overweight is good with me), not religious, probably white (or possibly latin). You're available evenings and weekends. I don't care how tall you are or how old you are. Seriously, I don't. You could be 24, 54, 5 foot, 6 foot, I don't care.
Ideally, things will go down as such....we exchange photos and a few e-mails. We have a "come as you are" meet-n-greet happy hour after work (or on a weekend). If we like each other, we start spending time together and enjoy each other and see where it goes.
All of my fingers and toes are crossed that this appeals to at least one of you.
